Palusol® 100 and 104 fire protection sheets help manufacturers significantly improve the fire performance of structures, fitting between or onto building products, components and specialist constructions requiring fire protection.
They’re widely used in fire doors, glazing, ventilation grilles, safes, fire dampers and cable boxes, offering versatile, reliable protection across diverse construction and hardware applications.
Palusol® activates at approximately 100°C, with heat consumed during water evaporation creating an additional cooling effect that further enhances its fire protection performance and reliability.
Expansion ratio ranges from five to nine times original volume, with expansion pressure between 0.95 and 1.6N/mm². Emitted gases are toxicologically harmless, and the compound remains stable when stored correctly.
Suitable for applications tested to BS EN 1634-1 or BS 476: Part 22, for up to 120-minute fire resistance.
Palusol® can be cut to any size required, providing flexibility for bespoke fire protection solutions across a broad range of components, constructions and project specifications.
Palusol® 100 is available at 1.9mm thickness, while Palusol® 104 is supplied at 3.6mm, allowing selection based on specific fire performance and application requirements.
